So I'm off to the UK for three weeks vacation shortly and I have a UK SIM card to drop in my phone. (My phone (Galaxy S6) is NOT SIM-locked, I've checked!)I do this to avoid the roaming charges. £18 gets me 5 GB of data and an order of magnitude more minutes and texts than I'll need.I know I can set up call divert - divert all calls - at the network level - to forward incoming calls to my UK number - which I don't really care to do (happy for them to go to voicemail, though it would be nice if 2D could email me rather than text me to tell me I have waiting messages)What I'd REALLY like, though, is to be able to divert incoming TEXTS to my temporary UK number. There are a number of "SMS Forwarder" type apps out there, but they all rely on a phone being up and running - I want to do something at the NETWORK level, since my phone will be with me, with another network's SIM in it.Technically I could leave my 2D SIM at home, plugged into my old (OLD) first Android phone, which still works, powered-up on a charger, but I want to have it with me to put back into the phone on the way back. Anyone know if it's possible to forward SMS at a *network* level? That would be the solution I need.Thinking of some undocumented *# codes or something that someone might know...
