Email - Domain names, SPF and Gmail

Hi All,

Earlier this week Google made a change to improve spam protection for their customers by enforcing Sender Policy Framework (SPF) for email - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sender_Policy_Framework. If you have a domain name and send an email to a ?@gmail.com email address via a smarthost, you need to ensure you have added a TXT record to your DNS records, otherwise your email will be bounced - e.g.:

If you are a 2degrees customer and sending via smtp.snap.net.nz, you may need this.
